At Home Sight Word Program:
(This program has not yet begun!)
The students will review the words with us in class and then take the sheet home to practice. Once they are able to read each word fluently (without having to sound it out) they will read the list to you for your signature! The students will bring the signed sheet in and read the words to us! Upon successful reading of sight words to us, we will give them a new list and classroom money! Each list will build upon the previous list. (Meaning the words on sheet 1 will appear again on sheet 2, and so on.)
The students love earning extra class money! Don't forget to sign the bottom of the page - indicating that your student is ready to read to us!
